Andrew commenced his career in the Melbourne Tax Division of Arthur Andersen in 1987. Initially involved in all areas of personal and corporate taxation, Andrew developed his interest and specialisation in personal taxation in 1989. Rising to the position of Senior Manager, Andrew left Arthur Andersen in 1996 to take up the position of State Taxation Manager and national tax consultant of boutique wealth advisers, Davey Financial Management. After the sale of the firm in 1999, Andrew began Summerhill Financial Management, later also returning to the private client practice of Arthur Andersen. Promoted to Director in 2000, Andrew continued to provide taxation, accounting, superannuation, and wealth management services to the clients of the firm. This included providing taxation and wealth management services to the partners of Arthur Andersen and Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture).
Upon Andersen’s demise in 2002, Andrew continued with Ernst & Young as a Director before joining Martin Goodrich & Associates in 2003 where Andrew held the position of Principal. In 2005 Andrew joined the Myer Family Office Ltd, a multi family office providing taxation, accounting, superannuation and wealth management services to its ultra high net worth clients.
In 2008, Andrew decided to run Summerhill Financial Management full time to continue to provide personalised high quality taxation, superannuation and wealth management services to the clients.
